Contract manufacturing of cosmetics and quasi-drugs(OEM)
High quality + expertise + extensive experience in contract manufacturing of cosmetics
Cosmetics and quasi-drugs are delicate products in terms of branding, aesthetics, hygiene, and the characteristics of the product itself, so there are many things to consider.
Are you working with a company that can handle it?
Frequently asked questions about contract manufacturing of cosmetics
1Is it possible to process and print lots of samples and trial kits for contract manufacturing of cosmetics?
Many customers want to minimize their inventory of samples and trial kits and make only what they need.
In addition to lot management and lot number printing (using inkjet printers and hot printers), we can also handle product inspection, box setting, and packaging, including shrink wrapping.
<Major Applications of Shrink Packaging>
・Full shrink packaging (L-shape packaging) ・R shrink (R bag) ・Cap seal (cap shrink) ・Label shrink (sleeve shrink)
We can also provide a set of flyers and booklets for different seasons and campaigns.
2Is it possible to request the replacement of labels and the display of all ingredients for imported cosmetics under the revised Pharmaceutical Affairs Law?
We routinely handle the labeling of imported products under the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law (revised Pharmaceutical Affairs Law) and the sealing of all ingredient labels.
It is important to hire a company that is licensed and has the right knowledge and experience to handle these legal matters. We have obtained manufacturing licenses (for packaging, labeling, and storage) for cosmetics and quasi-drugs under the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law (revised Pharmaceutical Affairs Law), as well as a manufacturing registration certificate for medical devices.
In recent years, there has been a growing need for clean rooms in various fields of manufacturing and distribution processing, both domestically and internationally, and in February 2016, a new facility dedicated to clean room operations (commonly known as the Clean Room Building) was established. With our extensive experience and well-equipped facilities, we are able to meet the needs of our customers.
3What is your experience in the processing and shipping of cosmetics and quasi-drugs?
What is your experience in the processing and shipping of cosmetics and quasi-drugs? Which would be more reasonable, to ask several companies separately for inspection (Company A for product inspection, Company B for packaging and distribution processing, Company C for storage, Company D for shipping and individual delivery to dealers, etc.), or to ask one company to do all of these things in total?
Considering the travel time and cost, the answer is clear, isn’t it?
Wouldn’t it be convenient to have a logistics company that is equally good at both distribution processing and mail order logistics representation?
With the concept of “from conception to delivery,” we are able to meet all of our customers’ needs.
4Is it possible to inspect cosmetics and quasi-drugs and replace shrink wrapping?
It seems that everyone has the same issues with B products, but one of our specialties is the inspection of cosmetics and quasi-drugs, renewals such as replacing outer boxes and labels, and help with recycling.
We receive many consultations regarding the inspection of products imported from overseas. Based on the characteristics and properties of each product, we check the products for damage, dirt, foreign matter, etc. based on the established quality and inspection standards to ensure quality.
We can also manage the delivery of products to sales offices and stores after renewal processing. We can also accept returns on your behalf. Of course, B products and returns will be handled in the same way as regular products, in compliance with the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law (revised Pharmaceutical Affairs Law).
5We are concerned about our first OEM transaction. We would like to work with a manufacturer that has a strong track record in cosmetics contract manufacturing.
To be honest, working with a new business partner for the first time can be very uncomfortable. Especially when we are asked to work on sensitive products such as cosmetics and quasi-drugs, which are subject to the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law (revised Pharmaceutical Affairs Law) and other laws and regulations, we are even more careful.
In this case, an important criterion is whether they have the necessary permits, licenses, and expertise to do the job. What kind of work have they done for what kind of companies? What kind of experience do they have? In addition to possessing the necessary permits and licenses and expertise, companies that are directly and continuously commissioned by major companies for important work are proof that they have a certain level of quality, technology, and service level.

Cosmetics Contract Manufacturing for Ms.variety
Obtained manufacturing license (packaging, labeling, storage) for cosmetics and quasi-drugs and manufacturing registration certificate for medical devices
We have obtained a license to manufacture cosmetics, a license to manufacture quasi-drugs, and a certificate of registration to manufacture medical devices under the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law (revised Pharmaceutical Affairs Law). As a professional in this field, we are equipped with the appropriate environment and facilities. In addition, as a company that specializes in logistics, we can handle not only manufacturing, but also storage, inspection, packaging, and shipping of products. We offer a wide range of knowledge and expertise, from general logistics to specialized logistics related to the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law (revised Pharmaceutical Affairs Law), such as cosmetics distribution, quasi-drug distribution, and medical device distribution.
Obtained ISO9001 (quality management) and ISO27001 (information security) certifications early on.
We obtained ISO9001 certification in 1999. We also obtained ISO27001 (ISMS at that time) certification in 2004. This was a time when there were still very few companies in Japan that had acquired these licenses. In 2019, we will also acquire ISO 22716 (Cosmetics GMP) for our cosmetics and quasi-drugs manufacturing divisions. We continue to protect the brand image and information of our customers’ products through our proactive approach to quality control and information security.

Maintaining a high quality system through the integration of ISO9001 and GMP
In addition to ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), which we have been operating for many years, we have established and are operating an advanced manufacturing and quality control system in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). The company’s cosmetics and quasi-drug manufacturing division has also acquired ISO 22716 certification (Cosmetics GMP). We are highly trusted by customers in various fields, including manufacturers of cosmetics, quasi-drugs, and health foods. In addition, medium to large cosmetic and medical equipment manufacturers have been asking us to work with them on a continuous basis for many years. This means that we have the equipment, technology, and track record to meet the quality standards of major Japanese manufacturers, which are said to be the most stringent in the world. These strict quality standards have now become our quality standards.
Well-equipped facility environment for contract manufacturing of cosmetics
Three of our seven distribution bases have clean rooms or semi-clean rooms (750 tsubo in total), where we manufacture and distribute cosmetics, quasi-drugs, medical devices, etc.
Of course, we also have the necessary equipment for these tasks.
Examples of equipment owned: Air shower, Auto-checker with metal detector, Weight checker, Lot printing (ink jet machine), Shrink machine, Automatic filling machine, Automatic packing machine, Air cushioning material manufacturing machine
We can also handle imported cosmetics. We have a wealth of experience in handling orders from overseas customers.
We have received requests not only from domestic customers but also from foreign cosmetic manufacturers. In addition to distribution processing services such as lot printing, replacement of efficacy notes and labeling tack stickers, we also offer a total range of services utilizing our experience and achievements, from sample kit creation and storage inventory management to mail-order logistics agency services such as product inspection, packaging and packing, and individual delivery. With overseas companies, we hold daily meetings via Skype and visit them several times a year to reassure our customers. Regardless of whether the product is domestic or imported, you can trust us.
From contract manufacturing of cosmetics and quasi-drugs to product inspection, return receipt, and renewal.
We also offer a service where we inspect the damaged (torn) package shrink, re-shrink it, and re-deliver it to the distributor. It is also possible to set up call centers and return receipt centers with cash-on-delivery agent processing. We can also handle the inspection, sorting, and lot reassignment of B products, as well as the processing of their transfer to outlet products. Of course, we can handle both domestic and imported products. Inspection, renewal, and recycling are also our specialties, so please feel free to contact us.
Please consult with us about everything from domestic shipping to cross-border EC.
In recent years, sales to overseas customers (individuals), mainly in Asia, have been increasing. The trust and popularity of Japanese products is still strong, but did you know that products shipped directly from storage warehouses in Japan are more highly valued (authentic!) by overseas customers than products shipped from storage warehouses overseas? Did you know that? We are also willing to provide consultation on cross-border EC. Why not start with a small amount?
We can also provide gift wrapping for cosmetics and quasi-drugs!
There are many customers who give their favorite cosmetics as gifts. Packaging is one of our specialties. This is because we are constantly receiving gift wrapping orders from major department stores. The quality of our products is at the level of major department stores, and we can provide department store packaging and ribbon tying upon customer request.
