Thoughts on Ms.variety

I believe that what is important is “to be able to pay attention to each and every little thing”.

I believe that in order to express the “feelings” that we value in our work, it is very important to be able to care about every little thing. We would like to introduce you to some of the things that Ms.variety is working on in our daily operations and the things that we value most.

16 Action Guidelines

Greetings are important.

Greetings are the basis for communicating as a person. This is true not only for the customers, but also for the staff who work with us. Experienced staff, new staff, employees, part-time staff, temporary staff… it doesn’t matter at all.
We have a culture of greeting and talking to people in order to make them feel good about working with us.
I call out to them by name as much as possible, and greet them with gratitude and respect for their hard work with me! I greet them with gratitude and respect.
We believe that we can provide good service only if they share our thoughts and feelings.

5S and 7S activities

Workplace = showroom.

Do you have the impression that distribution and processing sites are so-called “messy” workplaces or factories?
But which would you rather work in, a clean workplace or a dirty workplace? The answer is obvious, isn’t it?
Wouldn’t it be great to have a company where everyone tries to keep the place clean and free of dirt, and where people notice and act on their own?
It is a very natural thing to do, but creating such a culture seems easy, but it is surprisingly difficult.
But in a company with such a culture, you can be sure that details will be taken care of and work will be done beautifully.
The distribution processing site is an important workplace and showroom for us.
You can drop by at any time, even unexpectedly, to take care of your business in our beautiful office.

The same feelings as our customers.

We are not only sales representatives, but also distribution processing and call center employees who visit our customers. The purpose of this is to realize the “same feelings” with customers by directly receiving their “thoughts”, product explanations, and in some cases, complaints.
In addition, not only employees but also part-time employees are encouraged to communicate with customers.
I believe that the closer we can get to our customers, the closer we can get to the same goal.
We think it would be wonderful if our customers could immediately picture the faces of the staff involved in this work.

Logistics defect rate: 7ppm

Even your customers’ customers.

Beyond the customer, there is the customer (consumer). We believe that our work is only successful when our clients’ customers are happy. In other words, we believe that the customer’s goal and our goal are the same.
I believe that feeling the “same feelings” as the customer and thinking about how to make the customer happy from the customer’s point of view will lead to the realization of good work.

“Quality is a personality.”
While it is said that the limit of quality in logistics work involving human hands is 100 PPM, our logistics defect rate is 7 PPM! Because we are a team of people who can think about our customers’ customers, we treat each product with care, and each job is done with great care. We are proud of the high quality of our products based on this attitude.

Turnover rate below 10%

Make it easy for workers to work.

I once asked a group of dispatched workers what kind of placements they disliked.

  • They don’t treat you like a human being (look down on you from above, “Hey, you! They don’t greet you, they ignore you, they make you do crazy things because you’re a temp.)
  • No care (no place to eat or rest. (They don’t give you a place to eat or rest, and even if they don’t, you don’t feel any consideration at all.)
  • Inadequate instructions (work instructions are not explained properly, not understood, changed frequently, and redone many times)

No matter what your job is, you can’t do a good job if you don’t want to work at it. And what if such a person is even partially on the team?
We are always looking to create an environment that encourages today’s teams to give their best. We are committed to creating an environment where workers can achieve good results.

In order to create a workplace where everyone can work with peace of mind and go home with a smile on their face, we established the “Part-time Charter” in October 2019.
